The Big Canoe ;o)

The world’s largest passenger ocean liner, new into the port of Southampton, England this morning, 25 April. The Royal Caribbean “Independence of the Seas” weighs in at a 160,000 tonnes and can carry a maximum of 4900 passengers. She’s the length of 3.5 football pitches – I was lucky that the little tugboat sailed past in this shot to show some sense of scale. I’m glad its not up to me to try to turn this big lady round when she needs to sail out to sea! ;o)
